Hi, my name is Tjade Bouma (b. 1985). I run a creative studio working in art, fashion and culture. Before I started my own studio I worked at Foam photography museum and was curator and designer of art platform Beelddragers.
Photography always plays a significant role in my work: from editorial design, to art direction, from curation and photo editing to exhibition design. Next to my work as art director I am a portrait, street and still life photographer. With a sensitivity to colour and a graphic eye for composition, I try to inspire the viewer to find beauty in the ordinary.

For renowned photo journalism award De Zilveren Camera I’m head of jury in the Art, Culture and Entertainment category.

I also help photographers tell their story through 1-on-1 coaching sessions, portfolio reviews or artistic positioning workshops at Fotoacademie and DuPho.
