About

Hi, my name is Tjade Bouma (b. 1985). I’m an Amsterdam based designer, art director and photographer working in art, fashion and culture. Before I started my own studio I worked at Foam photography museum and ran art platform Beelddragers.

Photography always plays a significant role in my work: from editorial design, to art direction, from curation and sequencing to exhibition design.

Next to my work as art director I’m a street-, portrait- and still life photographer. With a sensitivity to colour and a graphic eye for composition I try to inspire the viewer to find beauty in the ordinary.
